Book launch of The Power of Learning from Dad

On 20th August 2020 author Dr Selva Pankaj launched his second book, The Power of Learning from DAD, a follow up to Thinking into Character which was published in summer 2019.

Being in the ‘era of corona’ the event was held virtually, hosted by Simon Blagden CBE. The launch was attended by friends, family, students, business contacts and those who share an interest in self-learning.

Selva described his new book as part memoir, part self-reflection and part theoretical exposition; Selva told of the inspiration for this composition and reflected on the parts of the text that resonated most deeply with him.

Speeches were also presented by Dr Maurizio Bragagni, CEO of Tratos, Prof George Holmes, VC at the University of Bolton and former Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who provided the foreword to the book.

Questions were then taken from the audience provoking much thought about what can be learnt from past endeavours, both those of others and our own.

The launch wrapped up with five lucky participants being chosen to receive a free signed copy of the book.
