Launch of The Power of Learning from DAD and Think and Grow Rich digital platforms
On Wednesday 9 December 2020, two new digital learning programmes were launched as part of a series of personal and professional development programmes, designed and delivered by Regent College London.
The two new programmes: The Power of Learning from DAD and Think and Grow Rich are embedded into the academic curriculum for students at Regent College London and are also available to working professionals to study so as to take their personal and professional results to the next level.
What do these programmes cover?
The Power of Learning from DAD:
Many of us learn a great deal from our parents and we do not implement these lessons until much later in life. What if we could package these insights into easily implementable lessons and use them now? This programme is built around an understanding of key concepts, such as decision, imagination and leadership, taken from the interactions of Dr. Selva Pankaj and his father. In each lesson, tools are described that will help you to develop mastery of these concepts. To add additional insight, these lessons are intertwined with the personal story of programme facilitator Dr. Selva Pankaj: a refugee turned multimillionaire, who achieved exponential success through the application of these concepts.
Think and Grow Rich:
This programme presents a concentrated version of Napoleon Hill’s best-selling book: Think and Grow Rich. We will summarise each of Hill’s 13 principles for success creation, from having a burning desire and preparing an organised plan, to cultivating your sixth sense. These principles can be used to clarify your goals and leave you with a range of strategies and models through which you may reevaluate situations, access hidden resources of the mind to deliver the results you want and deserve; results that enrich you and all around you. This is such an exciting programme for ambitious individuals seeking to understand the psychology of success and to adopt a new way of thinking that will lead to the successful outcomes you desire.
Feedback from the launch
At the launch, all key stakeholders in the Regent team were represented. Presentations on each of the new programmes came from students, lecturers, and members of the Senior Leadership team. Presentations focused on elaborating concepts from The Power of Learning from DAD and their significance to academic, personal, and professional success.
Focusing on the need for students to incorporate these wider lessons as part of a holistic curriculum at Regent College London, Akosua Bonsu, Director of Studies for Thinking into Character and launch organiser, wrote:
“These programmes are designed to assist students to achieve exponential success, not only academically, but also personally and professionally. We are excited to be pioneers in this holistic approach to education and we believe many colleges and universities will follow suit. It is time that we look at students holistically, as persons, and provide structures and programme content that enable them to flourish as such.”
